Internet Browsers
By definition, an Internet Browser is a program used to browse the internet, look up websites, etc. If you have a windows-based computer, you already have one of the most popular browsers out there -- Internet Explorer. You can download the latest version at microsoft.com . But just because it's on your computer, doesn't mean it's the best!

There are other browsers available and free for download. Many professionals believe the best browser out there is Mozilla's Firefox browser. Why? Because it's a more stable and secure program than Internet Explorer. The companion email program to this is Thunderbird. You can download both of these at www.mozilla.com .
Another browser commonly used is Netscape. Netscape has a long history of stability and has many great features to enhance your internet experience. You can download it at browser.netscape.com .
